Based in Rowledge, Surrey ceramic maker and teacher Samantha Robertson produces a range of hand thrown and press moulded functionalearthenware pieces.

 
Samantha enjoys the process of decorating work with repeat patterns using slip which enhances the layering and painterly quality of the material. Terracotta clay is used to exploit the richness and warmth of the coloured decorating slips, in combination with transparent and honey glazes.

Samantha has created a range of work that is both beautiful and functional, designed to be used every day.
