Claire is a mixed media artist based in a small village in Leicestershire.

 

Claire studied fine art at university in Belfast where she pursued her interest in layers and detail.

 

Thread & Ink combines Claire's love of stitch and print to draw and embellish fabrics and paper.

 

Interested in detail and layers, this can be seen predominantly in her textiles from choosing the right fabric, mixing and printing the ink and adding more detail by using appliqué and embroidery.
